(L.A.) Leverell Alexander, 68, Died in Transitional Housing

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old Black male that occurred in transitional housing.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Leverell Alexander.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Hypertensive Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease
Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Fentanyl, Recent Cocaine Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:07 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
The government clerk corrected the spelling of the decedent’s forename from Leverll to Leverell by October 24.
This was a murder. His wife poisoned him.
