(L.A.) Leonard Thompson, 68, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Leonard Thompson.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death A: Ischemic Heart Disease
Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease
Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Cocaine and Medical History of Diabetes Mellitus
RIP LEONARD THOMPSON (May 20, 1954 – April 6, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 6:48 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late September, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This is considered an accidental overdose.
