Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a six-month-old Hispanic child that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the infant boy as Laythan Garcias.
Manner of Death: Undetermined
Cause of Death: Sudden Unexpected Infant Death

Formal pronouncement was on Friday at 11:30 a.m.
The medical examiner was unable to conclude as to whether this was a natural, accidental, suicidal or homicidal death.
