Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Black male that occurred on Saturday.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alvin Frye.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: History of Diabetes Mellitus

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:32 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for drugs.
