(L.A.) Larisa Pereshivaylova, 57, Died in a Hospital 🥕

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Larisa Pereshivaylova. Originally from Russia.

Cause of Death: Complications of Liver Cancer

RIP LARISA PERESHIVAYLOVA (January 18, 1966 – May 21, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:12 p.m.

The decedent was standing in the kitchen of her West Hollywood apartment on April 7 when she was hit by gunshots fired by a neighbor. She was in the hospital for gunshot wounds when she was diagnosed with stage-four liver cancer.

Pereshivaylova is survived by her college-age son Max Buydakov.

The shooter was 31-year-old Joshua Ryan Findley who had outstanding warrants. He was arrested on May 9, 2023, for 246.3(A) – Discharge Firearm in Negligent Manner, but was released on January 23, 2024. He was supposed to be sent to state prison. He was again arrested on July 15, 2024, but was released on probation by October 4, 2024.
