The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lamar Adams III.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Morbid Obesity

RIP LAMAR ADAMS III (July 16, 1970 – October 4, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 9, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
