Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Karl Young Jr.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Complications of Hanging

RIP KARL YOUNG JR. (October 25, 1988 – June 7, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:20 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in September.
