Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Hispanic female who passed away at her residence.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Karina Alvarez of Long Beach.

Cause of Death : Acute Hemorrhagic Pancreatitis
Other Significant Conditions : Alcoholic Liver Disease, Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.
On February 15, the Department of Medical Examiner withdrew their initial conclusion that this was a natural death.
On April 28, the DME determined this was in fact a natural death.
