Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an eight-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the boy as Jereme Patt Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s surname as Pratt.
