(L.A.) Justin Echols, 32, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Justin Echols.

Height: 5 feet 9 inches

Weight: 180 pounds 144 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Effects of Diabetic Ketoacidosis

Cause of Death B: Diabetes Mellitus

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Effects

RIP JUSTIN BLAINE ECHOLS (April 11, 1991 – December 10, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:21 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 25, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.

The decedent had a criminal record that included a felony arrest on November 3, 2023. His court date was supposed to be on December 12, 2023.
