Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Julie Collins and listed her race/ethnicity as Hispanic.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Ethanol Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Fatty Liver

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:56 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in mid-April the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
