(L.A.) Juan Mendoza, 51, Died From Natural Causes

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Juan Mendoza.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Ethanol Use

RIP JUAN MENDOZA (March 9, 1973 – June 7, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 1:57 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early September, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
