(L.A.) Juan Alarcon, 48, Killed While Stealing

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a driveway.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Juan Alarcon. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Jimenez.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Stab Wound of the Chest
RIP JUAN C ALARCON (January 25, 1975 – April 21, 2023)
The decedent was stabbed in South El Monte apparently while he was in the act of stealing a catalytic converter from a vehicle.
Sheriff’s deputies were called at 2:51 a.m. Thursday to the 1100 block of Thienes Avenue, where they found the victim.
Detectives said authorities detained a resident who had confronted the suspect and two accomplices. The non-dead suspects were last seen entering a small compact vehicle and driving east on Thienes Avenue.
