Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 74-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jose Santiago.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP JOSE SANTIAGO (July 11, 1949 – July 27, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 6:13 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 29, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
