JOANN CFO Matt Susz Literally Dropped Dead, Biden Reveals
Joe Biden on Thursday told his audience at a White House event that “Joann’s CFO… dropped dead very unexpectedly.”
Sewing fabric company JOANN Inc had earlier in the day announced that Matt Susz, their Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Strategy, passed away suddenly on June 15, 2022.

Matt Susz was aged 53 when he died. He is survived by his wife Julie Tien, daughter Audrey, and sons Jonathan and Kyle. He and his wife were married in 1996, the same year he joined the fabric company.
