(L.A.) Jewel Motis, 53, Died From Polydrug OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Jewel Motis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Toxicity

RIP JEWEL MOTIS (October 10, 1970 – September 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 5:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in December.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
