(L.A.) James Taylor, 35, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a driveway.
The coroner’s office identified the man as James Taylor.
Manner of Death: Suicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:33 a.m.
The decedent was a County firefighter/paramedic. After his wife asked for a separation, he shot her in the head with a semi-automatic pistol at their La Cañada Flintridge house, took their six-year-old son to a relative’s home, and then shot and killed himself at a Pacoima fire facility where he worked.
Note that there are multiple decedents named “James Taylor” in public records.
