(L.A.) Cecilia Hoschet, 32, Died in La Cañada

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Cecilia Hoschet.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:26 p.m.
The decedent was a deputy who worked at the county jail’s Inmate Reception Center.
Her Los Angeles County firefighter/paramedic husband James Taylor shot her with a semi-automatic pistol at their La Cañada Flintridge house, took their six-year-old son to a relative’s home, and then shot and killed himself at a Pacoima fire facility where he worked.
According to investigators, on the night of the murder, she told him that she wanted a separation.
