(L.A.) James Demarco, 70, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Demarco.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

RIP JAMES DEMARCO (July 25, 1952 – March 1, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:25 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This was determined to have been an accidental overdose.
