(L.A.) Jacqueline Rockwell, 49, Died From an Embolism

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old female that occurred in an ambulance.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Jacqueline Rockwell and listed her race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian + Hispanic.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Saddle Pulmonary Embolism

Cause of Death B: Deep Vein Thrombosis, Right Lower Extremity

RIP JACQUELINE ROCKWELL (June 29, 1974 – February 5, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:04 p.m.

In the initial release on February 11, the government investigator indicated that the decedent’s place of death was her residence. The location was changed to “ambulance” on March 14.

The Department of Medical Examiner also publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 14.
