(L.A.) Ismael Huerta, 43, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ismael Huerta.

Manner of Death: Undetermined

Cause of Death: Complications of Remote Blunt-Force Head Trauma

RIP ISMAEL HUERTA (May 18, 1981 – May 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The medical examiner was unable to conclude as to whether this was an accidental, suicidal or homicidal death.

According to the decedent’s family, he suffered his traumatic brain injury on February 4 and was in the ICU for months before his ultimate demise.
