Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Hispanic male that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the infant boy as Isaiah Casas.

Cause of Death: Disseminated Herpes Simplex Virus Infection
RIP ISAIAH CASAS (March 13, 2022 – March 22, 2022)
The child was approximately 9 days old.
Disseminated neonatal herpes simplex virus or HSV infection is characterized by progressive multiple organ failure and high mortality rates.
