(L.A.) Ian Townsend, 31, Died at an Embankment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at an embankment of an on-ramp.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ian Townsend.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP IAN TOWNSEND (May 9, 1993 – June 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:35 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the meth.
