Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Derrick Larose.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Phencyclidine Toxicity

RIP DERRICK LAROSE (April 2, 1989 – June 19, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 2:41 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
