(L.A.) Hamid Reza Akhavan, 46, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Hamid Reza Akhavan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine and Difluoroethane Effects

RIP HAMID REZA AKHAVAN (March 2, 1978 – October 14, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:55 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 14, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
