(L.A.) Gerardo Hernandez, 20, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Gerardo Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: Hanging

RIP GERARDO DANIEL HERNANDEZ (October 15, 2004 – August 5, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The government investigator noted that the decedent had a medical history of depression.
