(L.A.) Gaston Moreau, 75, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 75-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Gaston Moreau.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

The decedent was on a marked crosswalk in South L.A. when he was fatally hit by a small, four-door sedan going northbound on Vermont Avenue at 90th Street.

LAPD said this happened at around 9:00 p.m
