(L.A.) Freeman Do, 80, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 80-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Freeman Do of La Puente.

Height: 5 feet 5 inches / Weight: 110 pounds

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm with Rupture

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP FREEMAN DO (July 26, 1945 – September 16, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The decedent expired in the SICU (Surgical Intensive Care Unit) of LAGMC (LA General Medical Center).

He had been arrested by Industry Station Patrol on August 26 for attempted murder and was in the pre-sentencing stage.

This was LASD’s 38th in-custody death for the year.
