(L.A.) Francisco Garcia Bejinez, 40, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Francisco Garcia Bejinez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Ethanol Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early November, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.
