The coroner’s office identified the girl as Esmeralda Loucel of South Gate.

Cause of Death: Covid-19

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at a hospital.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 14. Dr. Lauren Moshea was the forensic pathologist.
