Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Black male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Eric Ashby. He was found dead by the side of a road.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP ERIC ASHBY (July 6, 1963 – September 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:10 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 12, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
