Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Asian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Edgar Cruz.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: Ligature Hanging

RIP EDGAR CRUZ ( November 26, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

The decedent may have been of Filipino descent.
