Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dwayne Roland.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Other Significant Condition: Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:21 p.m.

The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s surname as Rollan and given his date of death as July 14.
