Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Dulce Lopez Camacho.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Embolism

Cause of Death B: Deep Vein Thrombosis of Lower Extremities

Cause of Death C: Leiomyomatous Uterus

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

Leiomyomatous uterus (uterine fibroids) rarely causes death directly, but large fibroids can compress pelvic veins, leading to venous stasis and increased risk for DVT and subsequent pulmonary embolism.
