(L.A.) Gül Erdoğan, 45, Died in Westwood

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence in Westwood.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Gul Erdogan.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday morning.
The decedent was a Turkish woman who was eight and a half months pregnant. It appears she was shot by her husband Aytaç Çamdeviren, who then turned the gun on himself. Her unborn child, a baby girl, did not survive.
Incident location was the 1300 block of Holmby Avenue, near Wellworth Avenue. Neighbors heard gunshots and called 911 at around 5:40 a.m.
