(L.A.) Dex Carvey, 32, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dex Carvey.
Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Zwagerman.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Ketamine, and Cocaine Toxicity

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 23, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
The decedent was indeed the eldest son of comedian Dana Carvey.

According to a post by Dana Carvey on social media, his son Dex died from an accidental drug overdose.
Our beloved son, Dex, died of an accidental drug overdose, He was 32 years old.
Dex packed a lot into those 32 years. He was extremely talented at so many things — music, art, film making, comedy — and pursued all of them passionately.
It’s not an exaggeration to say that Dex loved life. And when you were with him, you loved life too. He made everything fun. But most of all, he loved his family, his friends and his girlfriend, Kaylee.
Dex was a beautiful person. His handmade birthday cards are a treasure. We will miss him forever.
