(L.A.) Derek Davis, 35, Died at an Embankment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black male that occurred at an embankment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Derek Davis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

RIP DEREK DAVIS (July 21, 1988 – February 14, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 2:20 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
