Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 73-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office identified the man as David Hirsch.

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Oxycodone and Alprazolam

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 4:01 a.m.
The decedent was the father of Emile Hirsch.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
David Milton Hirsch was born in San Diego County.
