Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Darnel Parker.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP DARNEL PARKER (April 12, 1961 – November 14, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in June the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
