RIP DANIELLE CHERAKIYAH JOHNSON (September 25, 1989 – April 8, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 5:12 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

In the early morning hours of April 8, Danielle Johnson stabbed her partner Jaelen Chaney at their apartment in Woodland Hills, leaving him for dead.

She then took her two children with her in their Porsche Cayenne, which she drove onto the 405 Freeway. In the area of Culver City, she threw out her kids onto the freeway. The seven-month-old baby girl died; the nine-year-old survived.

Thirty minutes later, she crashed her vehicle into a tree in Redondo Beach at a speed of over 100 miles per hour.

The decedent has since been dubbed the “Solar Eclipse Killer” by the media due to her apparent preoccupation with the phenomenon.

Her mother Sharonda Cole says Johnson was struggling with mental health issues, ‘low-vibrational energy’ and postpartum depression.
