(L.A.) Daniel Hanna, 39, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Daniel Hanna.

Manner of Death : Natural

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Ketoacidosis

Cause of Death B: Hyperglycemia

Cause of Death C: Uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus

Other Significant Conditions: Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Methamphetamine Toxicity and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP DANIEL HANNA (1986 – June 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

In mid-September, the Department of Medical Examiner changed their August 4 conclusion that this was a natural death and added the line about the drugs being found in his system.

This is now considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
