Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Cortez Stallworth.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: History of Sleep Apnea and Alcohol Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:05 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on December 18.
