(L.A.) Colin Truong, 31, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Asian male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Colin Truong.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Hoang.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:22 p.m.

West Covina PD had responded at 7:05 p.m. to a cul-de-sac on Fairgrove Avenue, east of Aroma Drive, regarding a lifeless body inside a dark-colored Toyota.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on the morning of July 26.

Truong was a rideshare driver who had been reported missing in the days leading up to his death. He was suffering from depression.
