(L.A.) Clarence Fisher, 76, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 76-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Clarence Fisher.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Cocaine Effects; History of Prostate Cancer

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:35 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late summer 2023, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This is considered an accidental overdose.
