The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christopher Merritt.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: History of Community-Acquired Pneumonia

Cause of Death B: Influenza A

Other Significant Condition: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 3:14 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on December 31.
