(L.A.) Chaya Daise, 14, Ended Her Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 14-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Chaya Daise.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Head

RIP CHAYA DAISE (August 31, 2009 – July 27, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:40 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on August 28.
