(L.A.) Charlene Hathaway, 56, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Charlene Hathaway.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease, Obesity

RIP CHARLENE HATHAWAY (August 22, 1967 – September 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:24 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 22 the following year, presumably after the results of the tox panel had come back positive.

This is classified as an accidental or unintentional drug overdose.
