(L.A.) Charlene Hathaway, 56, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred on a sidewalk.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Charlene Hathaway.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Intoxication
Other Significant Conditions: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease, Obesity
RIP CHARLENE HATHAWAY (August 22, 1967 – September 22, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:24 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 22 the following year, presumably after the results of the tox panel had come back positive.
This is classified as an accidental or unintentional drug overdose.

Cause of death is still unknown. She was not beaten. People shouldn’t talk about something they no nothing about.

If the cause of death is unknown how do you know that she didn’t die from someone(s) cruel beating. I heard the same thing as the person above so it could be true, but it also may not be true. Either way it’s very sad and tragic
My name is Alexis Hathaway, (Charlene Hathaway’s Daughter!). Since people like you want to put your two cents in like you know EXACTLY what happened, why don’t you come forward and say your side of the story since you seem to know what happened as if you were there?!?!?!? As a matter of fact the cause of death for my mother is still ruled as a HOMICIDE!!!! She was beat to death! I pray we find justice for my mom and I hope those people get what they deserve.

Charlene literally saved my life.She also was instrumental in giving my good friend Jack a second chance at having a loving family.People like Charlie are rare and impossible to replace.I will never forget her sense of humor,generosity,and tolerance of my bullshit.One thing I know to be true is that the world was a better place with my friend in it and she will be missed.
I grew up with Charlene during our crazy teenage years. Though I had moved from California we stayed in touch thru the years. I am heartbroken at her passing. She is sorely missed.

Such a tragic, and life taking, chain of unnecessary events that caused Charlirle to lose her life, on a God forsaken hill, surrounded by individuals who she loved and cared for UNCONDITIONALLY!! To imagine that anything such as this could happen let alone did happen is beyond my comprehension.
