(L.A.) Carlos Mata, 29, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Mata.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effect of Multiple Drugs (Cocaine, Oxycodone, and Alprazolam)

RIP CARLOS MATA (October 17, 1993 – August 24, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:14 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was made public on October 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
