(L.A.) Brandon Nichols, 45, Died in Rehab

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a rehabilitation facility.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Brandon Nichols.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early November, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
