Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Antonio Wilson.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death A: Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding

Cause of Death B: Exact Source of Bleeding Not Established

Cause of Death C: Status-Post Gunshot Wound Injuries of Abdominal Viscera

RIP ANTONIO MAURICE WILSON (January 17, 1990 – November 30, 2017)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 6:38 p.m.

The decedent was fatally shot on November 14 after picking up food at a South L.A. shopping center.

In April 2025, the shopping center’s owners settled with the man’s family who had filed a wrongful death/negligence lawsuit.
